Sigatoka Control
A natural oil-based fungicide formulated specifically to prevent and control black sigatoka (Mycosphaerella fijiensis) on banana and plantain — derived from plant oils rich in terpenoids, flavonoids and phenolic compounds.

Sigatoka Control is an oil-based foliar fungicide derived from plant oil mixtures of the Myrtaceae, Poaceae and Lauraceae families. Its active constituents — terpenoids, flavonoids, alkaloids and phenolic compounds — prevent germination of the Sigatoka fungus (Mycosphaerella fijiensis) and support plant recovery. Applied as a foliar spray on a preventative schedule, it is the natural alternative for banana and plantain growers seeking to reduce synthetic fungicide dependence while protecting yields.
- Prevents germination of Mycosphaerella fijiensis (black sigatoka) — the most destructive foliar pathogen of banana.
- Supports plant recovery when applied at early disease stages.
- Derived from Myrtaceae, Poaceae and Lauraceae plant oils — no synthetic chemistry.
- Environmentally friendly: non-toxic to people, livestock and beneficial organisms.
- Flexible interval scheduling — every 4–7 days at outbreak, 8–10 days preventatively.

Prevention
Mix 3.8 mL per gallon of water (1:1,000). Apply 11.1–13.8 oz per acre by foliar spray every 8–10 days during high-risk periods.
Active outbreak
Reduce interval to every 4–7 days at the same rate. Avoid application immediately before anticipated heavy rain to ensure coverage retention.
