All Biosecurity Products
Vegalab Biosecurity has three products built for animal housing and water systems, five Crop Science products being extended to premise use, and two programs in development.

Biosecurity is pest and pathogen control at the premise level: poultry and livestock housing, equine stables, kennels and shelters, apiaries, residential yards, feed storage and drinking-water lines. Vegalab Biosecurity applies its multi-layer nano-encapsulation platform to these sites, with a stabilized chlorine dioxide disinfectant powder, single-dose chlorine dioxide tablets and an essential-oil premise concentrate for mites and lice. Solutions are organized by pest or pathogen, by environment and by protocol.
Most biosecurity failures are delivery failures: the disinfectant is spent by organic load, the botanical acaricide evaporates within days, the mite hides where the spray never reaches. Vegalab Biosecurity applies the same multi-layer nano-encapsulation platform used in Crop Science and Beauty Science to animal housing, premises and water systems. The range covers chlorine dioxide disinfection, essential-oil premise treatments and biological controls, backed by a library of the pests, pathogens and environments they are built for.
Biosecurity works at the premise level: poultry and livestock housing, equine stables, kennels and shelters, apiaries, residential yards, feed storage and drinking-water lines. Current products are Vetpure Disinfectant, a stabilized chlorine dioxide powder; Vetpure Miticide, an essential-oil premise concentrate for mites and lice in housing; and PureTabs, single-dose chlorine dioxide tablets. Five Crop Science products are being extended to premise and structural use, and two programs, tick control and a crawling insect concentrate, are in development. Every product page states what the current label covers and what is still pending.
Products lists what is available now, what is cross-listed from Crop Science, and what is in the pipeline, with a product finder and a dilution calculator built on label rates. Solutions is organized three ways: by pest or pathogen, by environment (broiler house, dairy barn, kennel, backyard), and by protocol (terminal cleandown, water-line sanitation, integrated mite management). Knowledge explains the actives, the delivery technology, species sensitivities and the regulatory rules that govern claims. Where to Buy routes distributors, pest management professionals and trial partners to the right contact.
Many premise actives already work in the lab. Geraniol, thymol and chlorine dioxide all have published efficacy data. The field gap is persistence and contact: unencapsulated essential oils typically lose useful activity within a few days, and chlorine dioxide solutions decay unless stabilized. Encapsulation changes the release curve, the evaporation rate and the stability of the active in solution. Our pages report where that is proven, where it is plausible, and where trials are still running.

Pesticide and disinfectant claims in the United States are governed by FIFRA and the product label. Minimum-risk products under FIFRA section 25(b) may not claim control of pests in connection with human disease, and every state sets its own acceptance rules. Vegalab pages name the pests a product is labeled for, describe disease biology only on separate educational pages, and mark premise uses of crop-labeled products as in development until the label amendment and state acceptance are in place.
The platform builds up to 20 biopolymer layers around an active. For volatile essential oils, the layers slow evaporation and extend the period an active stays on a treated surface. For chlorine dioxide, encapsulation stabilizes the precursor as a dry powder so the oxidant is generated at the point of use and holds in solution for up to one month. Each product page states which of these effects it relies on.

Vegalab Biosecurity has three products built for animal housing and water systems, five Crop Science products being extended to premise use, and two programs in development.
The pipeline holds two programs that are not yet for sale: a tick control product and a crawling insect concentrate for ants and cockroaches.
The Product Finder matches a pest or pathogen, an environment and the animals present to Vegalab products whose current label covers that use.
This library describes the pests and pathogens that drive premise biosecurity programs: their biology, where they live on a farm or property, why control fails, and which delivery approach addresses that failure.
Each environment has its own pest and pathogen pressure, surfaces, animals present and rules.
Products fail most often because a step before them was skipped.
Disinfection and pest control most often fail in practice because contact time, organic soil or residual is not met, even when the active works in the lab.
An active is the component doing the work.
Most botanical and oxidizing biosecurity actives work in the lab and fail in the barn because they evaporate, degrade or react before reaching the target.
Every biosecurity active has a hazard profile, and responsible use starts with knowing which animals, habitats and people it can affect.
Many common biosecurity habits fail for predictable physical or chemical reasons.
Vegalab supplies Vetpure Disinfectant, Vetpure Miticide and PureTabs to distributors serving poultry, livestock, equine, veterinary and water treatment markets.
