Life Sciences Knowledge

This is the reference layer behind every Vegalab Life Sciences program: what each compound is, how it behaves in the body, what regulators allow, and which delivery claims survive scrutiny. Each page states an evidence tier and a regulatory status so partners can make decisions on facts.

Compound Library

Thirty-seven profiles, from NAD+ precursors and antioxidants to incretin drugs and research peptides. Each profile gives molecular weight, solubility, half-life, degradation route, current route of administration, regulatory status by market, WADA status where relevant, and the evidence tier (in vitro, animal, human trial, approved). The library is a technical reference for partners. Start with NMN, NAD+, glutathione or semaglutide for the most complete entries. Profiles also link to the Health Areas and Delivery Challenges where each compound appears.

Three rings for molecule, technology and regulation joined to a central evidence circle
Each knowledge page states an evidence tier and a regulatory status so partners can judge claims.

Technology and What Doesn't Work

The Technology section explains multi-layer nano-encapsulation, compares it with liposomes, lipid nanoparticles and polymer shells, reviews the state of oral peptide delivery, and describes how bioavailability is measured. The What Doesn't Work section examines popular delivery claims (oral glutathione pills, oral NAD+ capsules, products labeled liposomal) against the published evidence, measured against the same standards we apply to our own platform. Technology pages give the measurement methods behind every delivery statement on this site, so partners can check how a result was obtained.

Regulatory and Program Standards

Where a compound sits (supplement, natural health product, cosmetic ingredient, investigational drug, approved drug or unapproved research compound) determines what can be made and said. This section covers the supplement versus drug boundary, the status of peptides by market, anti-doping rules for sport, and the standards Vegalab applies when selecting programs. Pages are reviewed against current regulator guidance and the annual WADA list, and each carries the date basis of its status statements.

Key facts

How our delivery technology applies

Every Knowledge page ends in the same question: what does encapsulation change for this molecule? For some the answer is stability on shelf, for others dispersion of a poorly soluble compound, protection from proteases, residence at a mucosal surface, or release rate. Where delivery is not the limiting factor, the page names the factor that is, so a program targets the right barrier.
